Greenspoint plaza& lt; br /& gt; houston, tx& lt; br /& gt; & lt; br /& gt; hines and the general motors pension fund acquired a total of six office buildings and three connecting retail centers in greenspoint plaza, a 13. 5-acre premier mixed-use development located in north houston. The first acquisition, which totaled 1. 3 million square feet, occurred in may 1994. This included four office buildings (one, two, five and six greenspoint) and two connecting retail centers (gallery one and three). The second acquisition, which totaled 700, 000 square feet, occurred in october 1996. This included two more office buildings (three and four greenspoint) and another connecting retail center (gallery two). The buildings at greenspoint plaza, originally developed by friendswood development company, were completed between 1978 and 1992. The greenspoint plaza complex includes two prime development sites for future office towers.
